Rt Hon David Cameron MP Visits Local Leagues

During one rainy evening in May 2007, Local Leagues received a visit from the Rt Hon David Cameron MP, leader of the Conservative Party.

Mr Cameron had been on a visit to Balsall Heath, visiting local community organisations with a view of grasping a feel for life within the area and learning more about life in the Sparkbrook suburb.

Mr Cameron had learnt about about the wonderful work of Local Leagues and the impact it was having within the community. 

He was keen to visit Local Leagues and see for himself first-hand what Local Leagues was all about, and so the visit was arranged. Accompanied by Naeem Qureshi and Pravin Patel, Mr Cameron arrived at Local Leagues to be received by Mohammed Shafique (Project Director, Local Leagues) and met with some other staff.
