8th Annual Civic Reception

Every year, Local Leagues recognise its Volunteers' valuable contributions to its aims and objectives.  This year will be Local Leagues' 8th annual Civic Reception.  The event will take place on Friday 4th May 2007 and at 3.30pm.  The location for the event will be The Council House, Banqueting Suite, Victoria Square, Birmingham (by invitation only).

The event is held to recognise the contributions made by Volunteers to the vision of Local Leagues in creating opportunities for young people to enrich and enhance themselves whilst learning through sport. 

A number of distinguished guests join us in the celebrations and enjoy the buffet style refreshments available after the ceremony. The photo on the right shows last year's event with Councillor John Hood as Birmingham's Lord Mayor (Local Leagues' staff are shown in the larger photo).
