‘Delivering Sport In The Community’

Summer Holiday Activities - 28th July - 30th August 2008

We will be putting on activities for the summer holiday period for 8 - 12 year olds at various venues. The activities will be delivered as 2 seperate sessions per day; the morning sessions (10am - 12pm) will be at either Sparkhill Park or Farm Park (Monday to Thursday as scheduled), with ALL afternoon sessions at Calthorpe Park (1pm - 4pm). On Fridays, all the activities will take place at Calthorpe Park where mini-tournaments in various sports will be held.

There will also be girls-only activities taking place at the Slater Sports Hall on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays only at 3 - 5 pm only.

Activities

Farm Park (Mondays & Wednesday) - 10am - 12pm

Multisports, football, and cricket.

Sparkhill Park (Tuesdays & Thursdays) - 10am - 12pm

Calthorpe Park (Mondays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays) - 1pm - 4pm

Football, cricket, basketball, & softball.

OLLMPICS.

Mini football tournament.

Mini cricket tournament.

Tournaments (Saturdays)

In addition to the regular activities taking place during the weekdays, there will be 3 tournaments held on the Saturdays; a football tournament on 9th August 2008 at Farm Park (13 - 15 and 16 - 19 age groups); an open-age cricket tournament on 16th August 2008 at Sparkhill Park; and another football tournament on 23rd August 2008 at Calthorpe Park (13 - 15 and 16 - 19 age group).
