‘Football Academy ’

Yes, its that time of the year. The World Cup is in full swing, the fixture list for the forthcoming Premier League has been published and Local Leagues is looking forward to the new football season with our highly respected Football Academy.

Trials taking place at Calthorpe Park attended by Local Leagues team of coaches who have a proven track record of developing young talent and assisting them in their progress through the footballing world.

We are looking to get as many under 12’s involved in this project as possible so that we can provide the participants with the opportunity to have fun, meet new people in the local community, participate in something they can be proud of, learn about healthy living and develop as a young adult.

So whether it’s the next 11 year old who has aspirations to be the next Wayne Rooney, a ten year old with the ambition to become the next Alex Ferguson or a nine year old who just enjoys football and wants to stay fit, then we would like to here from you.

Coaching sessions and matches will be spread out over the course of the week with Wednesday Evenings between 5-7pm for under 12’s, Thursdays between 5-7pm for under 11’s, Saturdays between 10.30am and 2.30pm for both under 11’s and 12’s and finally, new to this season, Sunday sessions for under 11’s and 12’s.

All sessions will take place at Calthorpe Park on Edward Road in Balsall Heath, so we look forward to seeing you there.
